Description of the Program The Certificate in Asian Studies provides students with a foundation of knowledge about Asia that will be useful for their lives and future careers. It is a comparative and interdisciplinary program that draws curriculum from a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to anthropology, international studies, geography, languages, linguistics, comparative literature, history, media studies, women and gender studies, postcolonial studies, sociology, and religion.
