Anuradha Bhasin is the executive director of the Kashmir Times, one of the oldest
and largest circulated newspapers in Jammu and Kashmir, India. During the
2019-2020 lockdown in Kashmir, she was instrumental in helping to partially
restore internet and phone services in the region by challenging the federal
government's actions in the Indian Supreme Court. She is also considered one of
the first journalists to provide an in-depth reporting on the psychological aspects
of the Kashmir conflict.
